Komatsu Middle East FZE successfully hosted the 12th edition of the Regional Advanced Technique Contest 2025 at the Komatsu Academy Dubai, located at the company’s regional headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This prestigious event brought together eight skilled contestants from Komatsu distributors across the Middle East region.
Each participant represented their respective distributor’s service team, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities through practical and written evaluations. The contest serves as a benchmark for service excellence, providing a platform for technicians to measure their skills against top-performing peers from across the region. The contest evaluated the entire process from identifying a defect to resolving issues on the excavator PC210-M0.
The competition culminated in an award ceremony celebrating outstanding performance:
Winner: Mr. Mahmoud Bilal Khanfur – Dar Al Hai, Kuwait
1st Runner-up: Mr. Alwyn Kumar Danthi – Galadari Trucks and Heavy Equipment, UAE
2nd Runner-up: Mr. Nikhil Chandrasanan – Saud Bahwan Projects & Equipment LLC, Oman
In addition to the top awards, special recognition was also presented for Safety Excellence, reinforcing Komatsu’s commitment to safety and operational excellence:
Safety Excellence Award: Mr. Zaid Osama Subhi – Sardar Automobile & Machinery Trading Company, Iraq
